Hi!

I am Penny, a local mum who loves music and is on a mission to spread the joy of music to growing minds.

I performed at Camp Bestival Dorset, Camp Bestival Shropshire, Brighton Fringe Festival, Fat Boy Slim’s Big Beach Cafe, and at many festivals throughout the UK, with my team. I am a singer who has performed with the likes of Saint Saviour, the lead singer of Groove Armada, Shlomo, the world famous beat boxer, has sung at festivals and nightclubs in London including Lovebox Festival as well as doing a variety of backing singing on albums. I learnt to play the ukulele 8 years ago at London’s world famous ukulele shop in Old Street, ‘The Duke of Uke’.

My Community

Ukeboxbaby is all about relationships and community.

For shows and birthday parties I work with Zee, who is also a local mum who is passionate about the arts. She helps as an events storyteller and actress. Zee is an expert props and costume designer, which adds something truly magical and brings our musical stories to life.

DJ Daddy is my husband who produces some of our Ukeboxbaby songs, is our event sound technician and Ukeboxbaby DJ.
